Finally, an announcement from Apple about the iPhone. The stage has been set for a special event that will be held next week in Apple's Cupertino campus. I have waited long enough for this and hopefully my curiosity gets satisfied after the presentation. I am looking forward to this event because...
- It's a post-Steve Jobs keynote presentation - Tim Cook should be handling the onstage chores now
- The new iOS will be released - some key features of iOS 5 have been presented in the WWDC 2011 last June
- A new iPhone will be unveiled - will it be an iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5
While I'm looking forward to the three items above, there maybe some other things that could be presented next week like...
- A refresh of their iPod lineup
- iWork 11 (I wish)
- A new Apple TV
- A new Macbook Air
I'm very excited for next week's announcement. I'm almost 80% sure to get the new iPhone when it hits the stores. I'm really itching for a mobile phone upgrade. A new iPhone will add it to my current lineup of Apple products which include the 2nd generation iPod Touch, mid-2010 Macbook Pro and the 6th generation iPod Nano.
