Taking pictures using the iPhone 4S's camera

My iPhone 4S is two and a half weeks old already and I must say it's a very worthy purchase. One of it's feature that I always use is it's built-in camera. The camera is 8-megapixels with a 5 lens autofocus which is an upgrade to the iPhone 4's 5-megapixels and 4 lens autofocus. When you launch the camera, you have the option of enabling the LED flash, grid and HDR. You can also flip the camera to either use the back or front lens. Take note though that the front camera only captures VGA shots so there's a lot of noise when you take shots from it.

The iPhone 4S captures good images even without photo editing. Right now, this is my secondary camera after my Canon S95. The phone is always with me and I can readily take pictures on the go. Not only that, I can easily share pictures on my social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Instagram. Here are some pictures I have taken using my iPhone 4S.

Here are some more shots taken with my iPhone 4S and edited in Instagram*.

There are a lot of great reviews about the iPhone 4S camera. In some shooting situations, it even performs at par with a DSLR. iPhone 4S is also the second most popular camera phone on Flickr. And nothing comes close to it when compared to another camera phone.

  1. I am currently using a Galaxy Note (original one). I really want an iPhone 4s. Should I do that? Or should I stay with my Note? Would you consider the iPhone 4s one of the neat phones minus or the goodies that the other newer phones have? Would the phone still be good one or two years from now? Any and all opinions will be considered before my decision. Thanks!

    1. In terms of tech, it is advisable to go after the latest device that was released. For the case of Apple, it's the iPhone 5. You might want to wait a little longer since the latest release of the iPhone might come in the Fall. I still love my iPhone 4S and it has a great camera system that I always use when there is something to shoot.

I hope this helps in your decision. Just let me know if you have additional concerns and I'll be glad to help.

  2. Wow,it's really awesome. One of the foreseen peculiarities of the iPhone 5 was its new Polaroid. Presently, despite the fact that Apple didn't brag excessively about the amount better the Polaroid is, they did say it has another sensor with better HDR and low-light competencies. They likewise figured out how to pack the greater part of that glass into a body that is 18% more slender than the past iPhone. Lenses like profundity, so getting even the same quality out of a Polaroid 18% more slender is a noteworthy accomplishment of building.Thank you.
