Mac App Review: Bartender

Meet the Bartender
I'm pretty sure you also have very cluttered controls displayed on your menu bar. Ever wondered how you can clean them up and combine them in an application? I think this is the best application right for the job. It is actually my first time to see such and I discovered it thru Cult of Mac last night. If you have Alfred, meet the Bartender.

The Bartender application is just in its Beta and you can download it for free on their site -- http://www.macbartender.com/. You can try the application first before purchasing and it will be free until June 1st. Or if you just can't wait, you can get a 50% discount if you buy it now in beta. Again, Bartender's main purpose is to contain the applications that are displayed on your menu bar to keep it organized and neat. I downloaded it last night to test and so far its working great on the applications I show in my menu bar. Please take note though that it only works for third party menu bar apps (e.g. Caffeine, Alfred and LogMeIn) but not the system based ones (e.g. Time Machine, Date and Time and Wifi status).

Pros:
1. Works as advertised, keeps your menu bar tidy and organized.
2. Very small memory footprint, its unnoticeable.
3. Minimalist approach

(The only) Con:
1. The price. It's expensive even with the 50% discount for beta purchase. The discounted price I got from the site is P333.11.

If you have a number of apps displayed on your menu bar just like me, Bartender is recommended for you! Just have to think though if you're willing to pay the price. Check out the snapshots I took of the application.
