I was one of the early gamers who downloaded this game a day after its release. With the success of Asphalt 6 and the $0.99 price tag for this game, you'll never go wrong with Asphalt 7. Asphalt 7 was developed by Gameloft and Heat was the latest installment of the game after Asphalt 6 Adrenaline.
Asphalt 7 Heat pretty much takes the same formula from Asphalt 6. The maps are still the same and majority of the cars are also in Asphalt 7. It presents the game with some great improvements including the user interface and better social networking with the game's integration to Facebook. I miss the short video though at the start of the game which was present in Asphalt 6. Gameplay is also the same divided into Career, Quick Play and Multiplayer (via Wifi or Bluetooth). Graphics is absolutely fantastic. The visuals in the game are stunning and definitely maximizes the available resources in the latest iOS devices. What I'd like to improve in the game though are the Controls. For me its very sensitive that the slightest turn can easily steer the car you are driving. Asphalt 7 is still at its early release and I'm pretty sure software updates will improve this latest offering by Gameloft.
I've been playing the game for a week already and it's absolutely great. Asphalt 7 requires iOS 4.0 or later and is a universal application, what a bargain for $0.99. Check out
Asphalt 7 Heat in the iTunes App Store.
