Today, we celebrate Independence Day here in the Philippines and Google has a nice Doodle on its search page for it. The celebration is for the freedom we got against the 300-year colonial rule of Spain in the country back in 1898. Here's a snapshot I've taken on Safari.
Last May, Google also featured a Doodle for the Election Day in the Philippines. Here's the article I posted last May for it. I wonder if there will be a Doodle again next week, June 19, in celebration of the birthday of our National Hero Jose Rizal. I hope there is!
