Enable login verification on the Twitter application

Twitter has released an update this week allowing you to enable login verification directly from the application. It was only available from Twitter's site and this is a nice update to manage security directly on your device. Aside from logging on your account using your username and password, you will now need your device for the second authentication. Here are the steps on how you can enable this security.

1. Go to your profile

2. Tap on the gear which should display a menu to edit your profile, settings or sign out
3. Tap on Settings

4. Go to Security

5. Enable Login verification

After enabling, you will now be alerted on your iOS device if you login to your account on a browser. You can either check on the login requests or place the backup code generated on your device. Here are the snapshots of the verification on Twitter's site.
