Last June 29 marked the first year of my 13-in Macbook Pro. It is a mid-2010 model with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB of RAM and 250 GB of HD. It is made of aluminum and sports a backlit keyboard. I really love the backlit keyboard, thanks to my uncle's persuasion. He has his own RDF too like SJ. I wanted to have a trusty laptop that I can use for surfing, gaming and work. I wrote something about my Mac a few months back which is the second Apple product I purchased. You can read my article here. My Mac has served me a lot already. Here are just some of the things that I regularly do with my Mac.
- organize music in iTunes
- edit pictures in iPhoto
- schedule my activities in iCal and sync Microsoft Outlook contents from work
- created a movie project in iMovie and burned it in a disc via iDVD
- built a site recently in iWeb
- download apps in the Mac App Store
- partitioned my drive using Bootcamp to play games in Windows 7
- backup my files and system using Time Machine
In the past year, I have also installed a lot of applications on my Mac. All of my applications (except for the games) are open source and downloaded for free. For my Windows 7 partition, where I play, I have installed the following games:
| My NBA 2k11 |
For my Mac, here are just some of the applications I have installed in it. I have placed links here so you can download them if you want.
My Starcraft II installed in Snow Leopard

I really love my Mac, it's absolutely a worthy investment. I hope I can maximize it's capabilities. 'Til next year then, maybe more applications to share and an updated OS to work on.
