Get your 50GB free storage from Box.net

Who wants additional 50GB of cloud storage? Well, Box.net has done just that for free. Their ongoing promo which started last October 12 will last until December 2, 2011. You just have to get the Box.net application in iTunes (for free also) via this link and log to the application on your iOS device -- it's just that simple.

There's no desktop application though and you can either upload files on the web or on your device. You are also limited to 100MB of file size upload in this promo which is already an upgrade from the usual 25MB. I still consider Dropbox as the best application to do this. These are definite limitations of the application but who knows, maybe Box.net will introduce updates in the future. 50GB is still a lot and everything is free so I didn't thought twice trying this out.
