Apple has just sent an invite today for an October 23 event. The rumors first predicted that it will be held today but Apple finally confirmed that it will happen next week. There are a lot of things going in the rumor mill as to what will happen next week and the top of that list is the release of the "iPad mini." The other devices that are being rumored to be released for next week include the 13-in Retina Macbook Pro, a refreshed Mac Mini as well as an update to the iMac. I also have my own prediction and that is a software update to iOS 6.0 to squash some bugs in the latest iOS. We are fully loaded next week (Microsoft has its own announcements too next week) and Apple will definitely end the last quarter of the year with a bang.
