iOS 6.x Jailbreak coming soon, 80% completed

The jailbreak community is closely monitoring the progress of the completion of the hack for iOS 6.0. It's been very challenging for the jailbreakers since the release of iOS 6.0 but the continued effort will see some completion in the coming days. Some tech sites are reporting that the iOS 6.0 jailbreak will be released sometime during the SuperBowl Sunday and even the jailbreaking team has teased about it. I just checked their official site and its already 80% complete. Private beta testing is in progress for OS X, Windows and Linux. The team is testing extensively to ensure that the jailbreak will be easy for the public.

Before you do anything on your iOS device, be sure to check out these important points.

     - You should have a computer running Windows (XP minimum), Mac OS X (10.5 minimum) or Linux (x86/x86_64).
     - An iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running iOS 6.0 through iOS 6.1.
     - A USB cable to connect the device to the computer.
     - Backup your device to iTunes or iCloud to ensure you have a copy of your latest data.
     - Disable the lock passcode of your device as it can cause issues.
     - Don't do anything on your computer while the jailbreak is in progress.

We're almost there!
