Yesterday, I've posted an article on installing Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm on my mid-2010 13-in Macbook Pro. For this article, I'm going to share playing the latest expansion on my Mac. It won't cover any kind of gameplay or strategy but instead I will share with you the categories I play in the game as well as the settings I have on my 3-year old Macbook Pro. Let me say that I'm really surprised on the performance of the game on my Mac. I thought the game will experience some issues but good thing my Mac still fall on the minimum requirements of the game. Here are the graphics settings I use on my Macbook Pro, I actually did not change anything in it.

Now in the game itself, I love to play against other players so I spend much of my time playing the ranked games. I usually play 1-vs-1 but there are battles up to 4-vs-4 as well. I'm in the Bronze League and ranked decently so far in the latest season. I am a Protoss player followed by Terran. I seldom use Zerg because personally, I'm having a difficult time using it. As for the campaign, I just finished three missions so far. I'll just continue with it next time just like what I did for Wings of Liberty. As usual, the cinematic scenes are just great and Blizzard really did a great job on it. Heart of the Swarm is just new and I'm pretty sure there will be a couple of patches along the way. So far, I'm really having a great time playing it. Here are some snapshots of the game on my Mac.
