First parachute jump on Google Search

Google featured Celia Cruz on its Search page yesterday and today, they have a new one again. Today's feature is about the first parachute jump done in 1797. Andrew Garnerin was the first person recorded to jump with a parachute without a rigid frame. Garnerin jumped from hot air balloons as high as 8,000 feet in the air (Source: About.com). Check out the snapshot below from Google. Go ahead and check their page for the animation.
