iOS App Review: Instagram

Well, well, need I say more. It was my first time to use this application. Yes, I just created my account today and I missed a lot -- better late than never. At first, I thought it's just for those camera capable iOS devices but realized I can also upload photos to the application with just the saved pictures from my iPhoto synced to my iPod Touch.


Now what is Instagram? Instagram is a free photo application that let's you apply filters and share them to social networking (like Facebook and Twitter) and photo sharing sites (like Flickr). There are a lot of filters in the application, you just have to choose what best suits your photo.


Instagram is exclusive for iOS devices and there's no web application where you can upload photos. Should you want to view your photos online, you can try Inkstagram or Statigram, again, for viewing only, no uploading. Major difference between the two? Statigram offers statistics like number of people who liked your photo, other people you liked often and what filters you use often.
