Food photography with the S95

Last week, I posted a blog on shooting Macro with the S95. For this week, I'll be posting some shots that will wet your appetite. Since all of us love to eat, here are shots on food.

For these shots, I went on Aperture priority so I can have control on the opening of the lens with the camera automatically adjusting the shutter speed. All of the shots here are taken at F2.0 so that maximum light enters the lens. I want my subject to be well lit to achieve good detail.

Just like shooting Macro, interesting food photography can be achieved shooting from the side. I also zoomed on the food. It's not a good idea to put your lens too near the subject, especially when you're shooting hot food.

Here are more pictures on the subject. I had a great time shooting them. I'll have fulfillment when you get hungry just staring at them.
