Shooting clouds with the S95

Sometimes, you really get to a point that you want to shoot too inside a moving vehicle. I used to think it's difficult (resulting to blur) but during a decent ride, i.e. constant motion, you really can take good pictures.

For this article, I'd like to share my shots of clouds inside a moving car. As always, I have my very dependable S95. Now I can't comment on some other point and shoots (P&S) but with the evolution of present P&S I would assume they can take decent shots too inside a moving vehicle. With the S95's manual settings and shooting modes, I've set my camera to Shutter priority (Tv). With this mode, I can freeze and capture a shot of moving objects, or in my case inside a moving car. I must say the cloud shots I've taken are pretty good -- good framing and composition. Here are some of the shots I've taken:



When you take cloud shots, it would be interesting if you capture a fluffy cloud and balance that with the blue sky. As a caution too, don't take shots directly of the sun as it will damage your lens. Here are more cloud shots I've taken:
