| My ever trusty iPod Touch |
Today is the exact date I purchased my iPod Touch. It was a second generation model which introduced the volume buttons and speaker. Prior to 2009, I was looking at different mp3 players to satisfy my love for music. Before the iPod, I was looking at the mp3 player from Creative because it has an FM tuner. Aside from my music collection, I also listen to NU 107 on the radio. I was also turned off before to the iPod because I can only sync music to it thru iTunes instead of just copy-pasting files from a Windows explorer.
2009 -- It was just the start of the year and I really want to get an mp3 player. Before getting the Touch, I was supposed to get the iPod Classic because of it's larger capacity. But after some thinking, I realized that I sometimes get bored to an artist or album. I can just replace some of the songs if I want to. With this, I finally chose an iPod Touch, a 16GB model. Good thing I made that choice because it has more functionality applicable for me than the iPod Classic -- these include mobile web browsing and the applications available on the App Store. The iPod Touch also paved the way to my introduction to iTunes, Apple, Steve Jobs then eventually to a Mac and an iPhone.
Even though I already have an iPhone I still use my iPod Touch for watching videos. I just love watching Apple presentations, Steve Jobs Keynotes and some documentaries related to him. I don't think I will let go of my iPod Touch anytime soon. Maybe if I have an iPad already, maybe...
